Financial Summary

The auditor's reported that the Balance Sheet of the Foundation , at 30 September, 1992 had total net assets amounting to 234 millions baht , of which Baht 25 million were assets of the Government's Support Fund ,while assets belonging directly to the Foundation were valued at 209 million.

In 1992 the Foundation received income from two sources . The first consisted of donations from H.R.H.the Princess Mother and from members of the public . which amounted to Baht 4 million , The second source of income was interest earned on the Foundation's cash investments , which totalled Baht 23 million .

In addition in 1992 , the Government , through the Ministry of Public Health , provided addition Baht 32 million for the Support Fund , which is used to by medicines and medical supplies .

The Foundation ,therefore has a strong financial position , which enables it to fulfil its task of providing health-related services to poor people in remote communities .

Its ability to elicit donations of money and supplies , and it effectiveness in being able to distribute these directly to the less privileged people , it seeks to help ,satisfies both donors and recipients alike .
